THE #1 SELLING DIRECT TO GARMENT PRINTER
The SureColor F2100 DTG printer was built to replace the F2000. Built on user feedback and extensive testing. Epson went to great lengths to deliver a garment printer they could be proud of.
Giving us a lightning-fast DTG printer with reduced maintenance. "First timer" user friendly-interface and software. That still manages to surpass everyone's exceptions in image quality.
At first glance, the F2100 doesn't look much different from its predecessor. Save the new "black box" added to the back. However, Epson made extensive changes to upgrade the performance of the F2000.
Maintenance Upgrades
Epson apparently got some lip for maintenance issues with the F2000. Which is very apparent when it's compared to the F2100.
It comes with an additional filter for white ink. Located in the new "black box".
Anyone who's involved in DTG printing knows just how important white ink maintenance is to success. To be fair, the F2000 also had filter points specifically for white ink. However, Epson deemed it necessary to add an additional white ink filter.
And boy does it work. Drastically increasing protection from clogging nozzles.
The F2100 also delivers convenience via Epson's Inline Automatic Cleaning System. The F2000 needed an operator to put 10ml of solution into the printhead capping station. And it needed this every day of use. Maybe not time consuming or expensive. But it was annoying at best and dangerous at worst. Especially if forgotten or neglected.
The F2100 removes this whole process with solution cartridges in the ink bay. The solutions delivered through the printhead automatically and regularly to save time. And all with an inexpensive cartridge of solution that gives you 2 months of use.
Precision Dot Technology
The F2100 improves image quality by adjusting the size of its ink droplets.
Translating into smoother transitions in tone and color. Especially for graphics with gradient colors. In addition to reducing "peppering" or molting effects on the visual.
While the F2100 saves ink overall, and provides stunning image quality. The Garment still maintains its smooth and soft texture, unlike so many other DTG Printers.
2x Print Modes
Light Color Garment Performance
The F2000 featured three print modes. Fast, quality, and high quality.
Allowing the printer to move at a different speed.
The F2100 gives you six different print modes. Providing a wider range of options for customizing each print.
Also increasing print speeds, and not just a little faster when compared to its predecessor.
Sporting a print speed 35% faster when printing images with white ink. However, when you're printing without white ink, it can deliver 2x the printing speed.
QUALITY
Epson's F2100 uses UltraChrome DG Inks. Which are safe, vibrant, and durable. But also gives you Industry-leading quality for direct-to-garnet printing.
However, the true leap in performance for the F2100 isn't simply found in its ink. But rather how it applies it to the fabric to create images.
In addition to its color cartridges, the F2100 uses 2 white ink cartridges. The extra white ink lets the printer insert a fresh white canvas onto your garnet.
Making sure all your colors appear bright and vibrant. Even on the darkest fabrics.
SPEED
The extra white ink cartridges also helps deliver excellent performance in speed. Especially when combined with Epson's advanced PrecisionCore FTP printhead.
Featuring 720 nozzles for color and 1440 nozzles for white. The F2100 can print white and colored ink at the same time. Drastically cutting down the time needed to print your image.
Making the F2100 one of the absolute fastest garnet printers in its class.

USABILITY
The most important feature of the F2100 is its usability. Epson's Garnet Creator software lets you easily print images onto the garnet of your choosing.
